Hello, Angel Wellness Club 🪽
For me, Angel has never been about perfect eating, a perfect body or following every new wellness rule. I built it around a much simpler belief: healthy choices should still feel delicious, beautiful and part of real life.
We often say “Health is Wealth” at Angel, but the meaning of those words has become deeper for me over time. As a mother and a founder, I feel the value of health in very practical moments. It is having the energy to be present with my children, the strength to keep building, the clarity to make difficult decisions, and the ability to travel, create, recover and begin again.
That is why I find the idea of healthspan so much more interesting than simply living longer. There is lifespan, the number of years we live, and then there is healthspan, the part of those years we spend in good health, able to participate fully in our own lives.
For me, that is the version of longevity worth thinking about. I want more years with movement, curiosity, independence and purpose, with the people I love around me.
And this is also how I see Angel. The food we create, the cafés we build, the information we share and the community we are growing may look like separate parts of the project, but they all come back to the same idea: creating a life that supports us for the long term, while still being enjoyable now.
With love,
Alina 🪽

There’s a lot happening behind the scenes at Angel right now.
We’re continuing to work on our Bali location, while in Dubai we’re updating the menu and bringing everything closer to one consistent Angel standard across the experience.
We’re also preparing a catering menu, which will be available soon, and planning a new round of events for the community.
And one more thing we can’t quite reveal yet: Angel Cakes x 🤫
A new collaboration is coming soon 🤍
Our giveaway winner 🎉
Thank you to everyone who shared their wellness favourites with us 🤍
And our randomly selected winner is Nora Gouma from Dubai!
Nora, brunch and a drink at Angel Cakes are on us. We’ll be in touch by email with all the details.
And to everyone who took part, thank you for sharing a little piece of your routine with the Angel community. We’ll be bringing some of your favourite ideas into the Club soon 🪽

Make Sunday morning something to look forward to.
Join us for 1.5 hours of movement overlooking the sea with Yumé Studio, followed by breakfast at Angel Cakes Monaco 🇲🇨
After the practice, settle in for a dish of your choice + a matcha latte, and spend the rest of the morning with the community.
More details and booking will be shared on our Instagram 🪽

Longevity used to sound like a fairly niche conversation, mostly confined to ageing research, preventative medicine and people willing to spend a lot of time thinking about biomarkers.
Now it is everywhere:
wearables estimate cardiovascular fitness and recovery;
clinics offer VO₂ max testing, DEXA scans and biological-age assessments;
continuous glucose monitors have moved far beyond diabetes care;
the supplement world has enthusiastically adopted NAD+, NMN and almost anything that can be described as “cellular”.
The conversation is moving away from simply living longer and toward living well for longer. The World Health Organization describes healthy ageing through what it calls functional ability: being able to move, learn, make decisions, maintain relationships and continue doing the things that matter to us.
Biological age in 2026: one number doesn’t tell the whole story
A longevity test might tell you that you are 42 chronologically but 36 biologically. It is a satisfying number to see, but it is not quite as simple as younger = healthier.
There is no single biological-age test. Different “clocks” look at different things, from DNA methylation and blood proteins to metabolites, imaging and clinical markers. They are also built for different purposes. Some estimate how closely your biology resembles a certain age, while others try to predict health risks or how quickly ageing-related changes may be happening.
For now, we would treat biological age as one interesting data point, not a scorecard for how well you are ageing. The things that matter in everyday life are still much easier to understand: how fit and strong you feel, your blood pressure and metabolic health, how well you sleep, and what your body can comfortably do.
Because in the end, healthspan is less about being told you are “five years younger” and more about having the energy, strength and freedom to keep doing the things you love for longer.
We’ve created our own Angel Wellness Chat on Instagram 🪽
