Setting new goals mid-year feels great. But maybe the more useful move is revisiting the ones you set back in January before adding anything new.

Your priorities, your energy, your rhythm, even what you actually want, may have quietly shifted over the past few months.

Real self-care isn't pushing toward a goal no matter what,
it's knowing when to pause, check in with yourself, and adjust course.

If you keep a journal, these questions can help you gently reset the second half of your year.

Where am I right now?

Pause and look back over the last few months.

▫️What am I genuinely proud of?

▫️ What did I get through, and what did it teach me?

▫️ What brought me real joy?

▫️ When did I feel most like myself?

Where is there resistance in my life?

Think about what's been feeling heavy lately.

▫️ What's quietly draining my energy?

▫️ What am I still tolerating, even though I've outgrown it?

Where do I feel energised?

▫️ What comes naturally and easily to me?

▫️ What leaves me inspired instead of exhausted?

What do I want December to feel like?

Picture yourself at the end of the year.

▫️ How do I want to feel?

▫️ What would make this "a good year," honestly?

▫️ What do I want to experience, create, or allow myself before then?

What goals actually excite me?

▫️ What genuinely lights me up?

▫️ What have I been putting off for too long?

▫️ What do I want to do for myself, not for anyone else's expectations?

And one last, important question:
how will I support myself along the way?
Maybe it's a monthly check-in, a habit tracker, a supportive circle, or small rituals of attention to yourself.

Let these questions be a chance to update your goals to fit who you are right now, not who you were in January 💚
